ബര്‍ലിന്‍: ചെങ്കടലില്‍ 45 പേരുമായി ടൂറിസ്ററ് ബോട്ട് മുങ്ങി. ബോട്ടില്‍ 31 വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികളും 14 ജീവനക്കാരുമാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.

വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള 30 ഓളം വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 45 പേരുമായി ഈജിപ്ഷ്യന്‍ തീരത്ത് ചെങ്കടലില്‍ ഒരു ബോട്ട് മുങ്ങി. "സീ സ്റേറാറി" യുടെ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ അതിരാവിലെ തന്നെ ഒരു ദുരന്ത കോള്‍ നടത്തിയതായി മേഖലയുടെ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ മേജര്‍ ജനറല്‍ അമര്‍ ഹനാഫി പറഞ്ഞു.

മുങ്ങല്‍ വിദഗ്ധര്‍ക്കും മറ്റ് വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്കും പ്രശസ്തമായ തീരദേശ പട്ടണമായ മാര്‍സ ആലത്തിന് സമീപം രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട ചിലരെ കണ്ടെത്തിയതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുണ്ട്. അവരെ വിമാനത്തിലും ഫ്രിഗേറ്റിലും സുരക്ഷിതമായി എത്തിച്ച് വൈദ്യസഹായം നല്‍കിയതായും വിവരമുണ്ട്. ഏതൊക്കെ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നാണ് വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികള്‍ എത്തിയതെന്ന് ആദ്യം വ്യക്തമായിരുന്നില്ല. ജര്‍മ്മന്‍ ഹോളിഡേ മേക്കര്‍മാര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ഹുര്‍ഗദയ്ക്ക് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശവും വളരെ ജനപ്രിയമാണ്.

"സീ സ്റേറാറി" എന്നത് രണ്ട് വര്‍ഷം മാത്രം പഴക്കമുള്ളതും 30~ലധികം യാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്കുള്ള ക്യാബിനുകളുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു മോട്ടോര്‍ യാച്ചാണ്. ചെങ്കടലില്‍ മള്‍ട്ടി~ഡേ ഡൈവിംഗ് ഉല്ലാസയാത്രകള്‍ക്കുള്ള ബോട്ടുകളായി ട്രാവല്‍ പ്രൊവൈഡര്‍മാര്‍ ഇവരെ പരസ്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് പതിവാണ്.

പോര്‍ട്ട് ഗാലിബില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു, വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച കൂടുതല്‍ വടക്ക് ഹുര്‍ഗദയില്‍ എത്തേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും ലക്ഷ്യസ്ഥാനത്ത് എത്തിയില്ല. രക്ഷാ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ നാവികസേനയുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് കൂടുതല്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരെ കണ്ടെത്തുമെന്ന് ഹനാഫി പറഞ്ഞു.
